My birthday was yesterday. As I ease back into the post-holiday swing of things, I found the day filled with loving messages, Drafty Kilts, swinging Italian establishments, laughter, honesty, and lots of love.
Great birthday :)
I’m feeling energetic, motivated, and relaxed for the start of the new year. It’s such a stark contrast to December where I felt positively in over my head, both voluntarily and involuntarily. I have reached the surface now, and those first few breaths are incredible.
I have some big plans for this year. Among them is reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. Like the author, I don’t find myself to be an unhappy individual, but I think we can all be happier, even if that means better appreciating the good things in our daily lives. How many times do I overlook these things!
Each chapter follows her journey and challenges to tackle on a monthly basis, and I plan on following along with one chapter per month, taking on the challenges in my own life.
In addition, I’m going to continue to post what I find beautiful, inspirational, motivational, and brings me happiness.
